Job Title: SR163 Site Manager
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £550 p/day
We are looking for a SR163 Site Manager in Birmingham to oversee security system installations at National Grid substations. The role involves managing site workers, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with all NG protocols.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Manage and supervise site operatives for security system installations.
- Oversee commissioning and handover project phases.
- Supervision of subcontractors and monitoring project deliverables.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and adherence to NG protocols.
- Manage RAMS and ensure they are followed.
- Support the PM in maintaining project budgets and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Verify operatives’ permits and authorisations.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a TP137/SR163 Site Manager role.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- TP137/SR163 authorisation (essential)
- SMSTS/NEBOSH (essential)
- First Aid certification (essential)
- Temporary Works Supervisor certification (beneficial)
- Full 5-point PPE.
