Job Title: Site Manager - SCO91
Location: Yorkshire
Rate: £550 p/day
Technical Resources are seeking an experienced Site Manager in Yorkshire with expertise in managing security system installations and compliance on gas sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Manage site health and safety, including permits and compliance.
- Support the Project Manager in maintaining budgets and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Authorise timesheets and monitor staff performance
- Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and near-misses to project management and the client.
- Manage fire, first aid, and emergency arrangements on-site.
- Assess subcontractors for training and competency, ensuring all tools and equipment are inspected and fit for purpose and permitry is in place.
- Manage and supervise electricians and engineers for security system installations at gas sites.
- Oversee all project phases, including installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Supervise and manage sub-contractors.
- Provide progress reports and updates to the Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, including the execution of RAMS.
Experience required:
- 5 years’ experience as an M&E / Electrical Site Manager.
- Proven experience working on gas sites.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- First Aid Certification (essential)
- Fire Marshal Certification (essential)
- Flameproof overalls (unmarked).
- JIB Gold / 18th Edition
- SCO91 Certification (essential)
- SHEA Gas Certification (essential)
- SMSTS Certification (essential)
