Role: Security Systems Project Engineer
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum + Company Van / Car
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Systems Project Engineer to join a team in Derbyshire. The role will be field-based, managing the delivery of multiple projects across the Midlands.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Monitor and control project schedules, ensuring projects are on programme.
- Process cost sheets and liaise with the purchasing department.
- Plan and control labour and materials required for project delivery.
- Allocate and complete engineering paperwork accurately.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the project team.
- Attend site meetings and engage with clients.
- Manage and oversee engineers and subcontractors.
- Report into the Project Manager regarding project progress.
- Control all aspects of health and safety on-site.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and minor works as required.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the security industry.
- Experience managing engineering projects across multiple site locations.
- Strong technical knowledge of security systems.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
