Role: Security Supervisor
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Supervisor in Hertfordshire to oversee and manage on-site security installations, with a focus on Access Control and Door Entry systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership to ensure the success of security system installations and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide engineers on-site, ensuring project delivery and quality standards are met.
- Actively participate in the installation and commissioning of security systems.
- Provide hands-on support with tools to assist in the installation and maintenance of access control and door entry systems.
- Mentor and train engineers, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
- Review engineering work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Order and manage stock and equipment to ensure smooth project flow.
- Conduct health and safety assessments on-site to maintain safety compliance.
- Travel to project sites, meet with clients, and provide updates on progress.
- Report regularly to Directors regarding project status and potential issues.
- Survey and assess sites to plan and execute security system installations effectively.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in security system installation (Access Control and Door Entry).
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on technical expertise and a strong understanding of industry standards.
- Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
