Role: Security Service Engineer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum + overtime available + company health care plan + referral scheme
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Service Engineer to join a growing team in Peterborough. This role involves the servicing and maintenance of various intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. You will be responsible for meeting maintenance and fault-finding targets, as well as delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Work towards and exceed maintenance and fault-finding targets.
- Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining the causes and consequences of false alarms.
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours callouts and telephone support.
- Understand and meet clients’ needs, ensuring the completion of all assigned jobs.
- Ensure health, safety, and welfare of yourself and your team in accordance with company policies.
- Implement and comply with information security, environmental, quality, and health and safety policies.
- Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or interference.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Working knowledge of various intruder panels, such as Galaxy, Castle, Aritech, Scantronic, Network/IP, and analogue CCTV systems.
- 3+ years of experience in service and repair work within the security industry.
- Experience with Network/IP-based products.
- Clean full UK driving licence.
- Checkable work history and suitable references.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
