Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Service Engineer to join a team in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of intruder, CCTV, and access control systems, ensuring they meet current standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with a proven track record of maintaining and troubleshooting security systems.
Responsibilities :
- Service and maintain various intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Work towards and exceed maintenance and fault-finding targets.
- Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining causes and consequences of false alarms.
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours callouts and telephone support.
- Understand clients’ needs and fulfil all required jobs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including information security, environmental, quality, and health and safety.
- Protect assets from unauthorised access, modification, or destruction.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in the service and repair of security systems, with at least 3+ years in the industry.
- Working knowledge of intruder panels such as Galaxy, Castle, Aritech, Scantronic, and Network/IP-based CCTV systems.
- Strong knowledge of Network/IP and analogue CCTV systems.
- Full UK driving licence (clean).
- Checkable work history and suitable references.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
