Job Title: Security Project Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Rate: £340 p/day
Are you a skilled Security Project Engineer in Newcastle with experience in managing and commissioning security systems? We are recruiting for a skilled professional to oversee the full installation and testing of access control, intruder, CCTV, and other security systems across a variety of sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Management of electronic security projects
- Commissioning of systems as required
- Verify the accuracy of equipment specifications at the pre-installation stage
- Develop and manage site-specific method statements and risk assessments
- Supervise sub-contractors effectively and liaise with clients and contractors
- Ensure that systems are properly tested, commissioned, and documented
Experience required:
- 5 years' experience commissioning and supervising security systems projects
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS (beneficial)
- SSSTS (beneficial)
- G4S vetting completed
- Own hand tools, laptop, PPE
