Job Title: Security Project Engineer

Location: Greater Manchester

Rate: £340 p/day

Are you an experienced Security Project Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We are recruiting for a Security Project Engineer to manage and oversee electronic security projects in Greater Manchester. You will work on various security systems, including Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Intercom systems.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Management of electronic security projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Commissioning systems and verifying the detailed accuracy of equipment specifications during the pre-installation phase.
  • Develop and manage site-specific method statements and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Supervise sub-contractors and ensure they meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Testing and commissioning of systems and assisting in the production of O&M documentation.
  • Provide customer training and ensure that systems meet the client's expectations, maximising customer satisfaction.
  • 1st and 2nd fix works on Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV.
  • Husky NVR’s and Milestone Video Management System.
  • Symmetry Access Control, Galaxy Intruder Alarms, Commend Intercom systems.
  • Install Hanwha Cameras, PA buttons, and Access Speakers (Plug and Play).
  • System testing and verification.

Experience required:

  • 5+ years' experience commissioning and supervising security systems projects.
  • Proven experience with Husky NVR's, Milestone VMS, Symmetry Access Control, Galaxy Intruder Alarms, and Commend Intercom systems.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • CSCS/ECS certification (beneficial).
  • SSSTS (beneficial).
  • G4S vetting completed (essential).
  • Own hand tools for installation.
  • Laptop for project documentation and communication.
  • PPE.
