Job Title: Security Project Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate: £340 p/day

Technical Resources are seeking a Security Project Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of security systems in Greater Manchester. Description of contract/programme of works:
- Manage and oversee the installation and commissioning of electronic security systems.
- Verify the accuracy of equipment specifications at the “pre-installation” stage.
- Develop and manage site-specific method statements and risk assessments, ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure effective delivery of installations.
- Test and commission systems, assisting with O&M documentation.
- Provide training to customers, ensuring they receive appropriate system training and support.
- The installation you will be running:
- 1st and 2nd fix works on access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
- Installation of Husky NVRs, Milestone video management systems, Symmetry access control, Galaxy intruder systems, Commend intercoms, Hanwha cameras, PA buttons, and plug-and-play access speakers.
Experience required:
- 5 years of commissioning and supervising security systems projects.
- Experience with the systems listed above (Husky NVRs, Milestone, Symmetry, Galaxy, Hanwha, Commend).
- Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and liaise with clients.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS card – Beneficial
- SSSTS – Beneficial
- Vetting completed
- Own hand tools, laptop, and full PPE
