Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Frankfurt
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to be embedded with a multi-billion-pound client in Frankfurt, Germany. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Germany and will be based in the Frankfurt/Heidelberg area. Our client will provide relocation assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform 1st and 2nd fix installations of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Configure and test security systems to ensure effective operation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation or maintenance.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of installation and maintenance work.
- Install cable runs, mount and position security devices (CCTV cameras, alarm panels, access control units, etc.).
- Ensure all hardware is securely fixed, properly aligned, and complies with manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure correct installation of electrical supplies, cabling, and conduit.
- Install and connect security devices, ensuring proper integration and operational functionality.
- Configure and program security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Perform tests on all systems, ensuring compliance with required standards and regulations.
- Complete system commissioning and handover to the client, providing training where necessary.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment or wiring issues, performing repairs as required.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, testing, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with current security standards, codes of practice, and health and safety regulations.
- Communicate with clients to explain system functions and maintenance needs.
- Work efficiently to meet installation deadlines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in security system installations (CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms).
- Expertise in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
