Job Title: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Berkshire
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Security Installation Engineer based in Berkshire? We are recruiting for a skilled Security Installation Engineer to complete 2nd fix installations of LENEL access control systems, along with some minor cable pulling, testing, labeling, and termination. Future potential work may include Axis CCTV systems.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 2nd fix installation of LENEL access control systems.
- Minor cable pulling, testing, labeling, and termination.
- Potential future work with Axis CCTV systems.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in electronic security engineering.
- Familiarity with LENEL systems (2nd fix installations).
- Knowledge of testing, labeling, and terminating cables.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS – Essential.
- IPAF – Essential.
- Manual Handling – Essential.
- Working at Height – Essential.
- Hand tools, power tools, stepladders, and the following specific tools:
- Soldering iron (battery operated).
- Heat shrink gun (battery operated).
- Ferrell boot lace crimp tool.
- Hellerman Sleeve expansion tool.
- Calibrated multimeters.
- Harness & lanyard.
- All steps require permits and ladder tags.
- Pecos & scissor lifts will be provided.
