Security Installation Engineer in England

Job Title: Security Installation Engineer
Location: United Kingdom
Rate: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum + company health care plan + overtime available + referral scheme

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role requires a high standard of installation for electronic security systems, including adds, moves, and changes to existing systems. You will possess strong technical knowledge of intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and alarm signalling devices such as Emizon, Dual-Com, and Webway.

Responsibilities :

• Install electronic security systems to a high standard, including system upgrades and modifications.
• Work closely with customers to meet installation requirements and specifications.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication at all times.
• Perform work independently or as part of a team, covering a defined geographical area.
• Read and interpret building plans and CAD drawings.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Handle effective planning and management of work, adhering to tight deadlines.
• Prepare and submit required documentation, including site schematics and drawings.
• Travel and work away from home when necessary.
• Adhere to company information security policies and report any potential security risks.

Experience and Certifications Required:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the electronic security industry with strong working knowledge of security systems.
• Fully conversant with NSI standards.
• Expertise in Network/IP-based and analogue CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of access control and intruder systems.
• Clean full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
