Role: Security Estimator
Location: Leicester
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a team in Leicester. This role involves quoting low to mid-level security jobs, working on a range of projects, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quotes for low to mid-level security projects.
- Manage projects, quoting jobs, and passing them on to the seller for client presentation.
- Work on projects ranging from £10k up to £1m.
- Primarily work on fire systems, with some involvement in security systems.
- Work on systems like Paxton, Hikvision Gent, Advanced, and Notifier.
- Attend weekly meetings to review work priorities, identify potential obstacles, and ensure smooth project handover.
- Conduct site surveys.
- Regularly interact with the sales team about account progress.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Experience working in fire systems.
- Strong estimating and quoting experience.
- Ability to train on the products used, though previous estimating and quoting experience is essential.
- Experience working in security systems (desirable).
- Competency in CAD to create drawings when needed (desirable).
- General usage knowledge of the systems mentioned above (desirable).
