Job Title: Plant Operator - SHEA Gas
Location: Kingston Upon Hull
Rate: £225 p/day
Are you a Plant Operator ready for a new challenge in Kingston Upon Hull? We need a skilled Plant Operative to join a team and help support the preparation, setup, and maintenance of construction sites. You'll be conducting maintenance checks, operating a forward tipping dumper, and ensuring that safety regulations are met while working on gas sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Support with the preparation, setup, and maintenance of sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to meet project requirements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Excavate areas and dig trenches.
- Operate a forward tipping dumper.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dumper driver/plant operative roles.
- Experience working at gas sites.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- SHEA Gas certification (Essential).
- NPORS 360 Excavator and Lifting Ops (Essential).
- Manual Handling certification (Essential).
- CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent (Beneficial).
- HSG47 certification (Beneficial).
- Full PPE, including orange flame-retardant overalls (Unmarked).
