Job Title: JIB Electrician
Location: South East London
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Domestic Electrician looking for a contract role in South East London? We need you to perform maintenance tasks on social housing properties. This role involves upgrading smoke alarm systems, carbon monoxide alarms, lighting in kitchens and bathrooms, and fixing broken sockets or switches.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Replace and upgrade smoke alarms to LD2 standard.
- Check and maintain carbon monoxide alarms (1 up and 1 down stairs).
- Upgrade lighting in kitchens and bathrooms.
- Repair or replace broken sockets and switches.
- Complete 4 properties per day, with the option to finish early if work is completed ahead of time.
Experience required:
- Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician, specifically in social housing (occupied properties).
- Metal conduit experience (Beneficial).
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Standard hand tools for electrical work.
- Combi drill and multi-tool.
- Capped boots for safety.
- Smart workwear.
- Metal conduit experience (Beneficial).
- JIB Gold ECS card (Essential).
