Job Title: Groundworker - SHEA Gas
Location: North East England
Rate: £195 p/day
Are you looking for a Groundworker position on a gas site in the North East? As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation, setup, and maintenance of sites, as well as excavating areas, digging trenches, operating machinery, and carrying out general labouring duties. Ensuring safety protocols are followed is key to this role.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Support with site preparation, setup, and maintenance.
- Excavate areas and dig trenches.
- Operate machinery as required.
- Carry out general labouring duties.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Effective communication with other team members.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Groundworker roles at gas sites.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- SHEA Gas certification.
- CSCS / CPCS card.
- Basic DBS.
- CPCS or equivalent card holder.
- CCNSG Safety Passport or equivalent.
- HSG47.
- Abrasive Wheels.
- First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
- Orange flame-retardant overalls.
