Job Title: Groundworker - SHEA Gas
Location: Kingston Upon Hull
Rate: £195 p/day
We are recruiting for a Groundworker in Kingston Upon Hull to support with the preparation, setup, and maintenance of Gas sites. This role involves excavation, trench digging, operating machinery, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. As a Groundworker on a Gas site, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including excavation, digging trenches, operating machinery, and assisting with general labouring duties. You will work closely with team members to ensure that safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Support with the preparation, setup, and maintenance of Gas sites.
- Excavate areas and dig trenches.
- Operate machinery and tools as required.
- Carry out general labouring duties on site.
- Ensure that safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth site operations.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Groundworker roles at Gas sites.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- SHEA Gas certification (Essential).
- Basic DBS check (to be obtained after start).
- Abrasive Wheels certification (Essential).
- Manual Handling certification (Essential).
- CPCS or Equivalent Card Holder.
- CCNSG Safety Passport or Equivalent.
- HSG47 (Highly beneficial).
- First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
- Orange flame retardant overalls for site work.
