Job Title: FTTP Installation Engineer
Location: Northern Ireland
Rate: £200 p/day
Are you looking for an FTTP Installation Engineer position in Northern Ireland? As an FTTP Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for broadband home installations, including drilling into walls, running cables, and presenting the socket for connection. The job will also involve connecting the broadband unit to the cable. You will need to complete a minimum of 8 properties a day.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install broadband at residential properties, including drilling walls and running cables from the outside to inside the house.
- Present the socket and connect the broadband unit to the cable.
Experience required:
- Previous FTTP and fibre installation experience.
- Home broadband provision experience.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Full UK driving licence (clean).
- Drill and other necessary tools (full tool list/PPE TBC).
- OTDR tester (to be confirmed).
