Job Title: Fire Service Engineer
Location: Oxford
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire Service Engineer looking for a new contract role in Oxford? We are seeking a skilled Fire Service Engineer to carry out service and maintenance works across various sites around the Oxford region, working on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems (all open protocol).
Description of contract/programme of works:
- PPM’s, remedials, and breakdowns on addressable and conventional fire alarms (open protocol).
- Candidates must be able to perform maintenance, remedial, and fault finding works on fire alarm systems.
- Work will be spread across various Oxford region sites.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in the Fire and Security industry, specifically in servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Asbestos Awareness (within the last 12 months).
- Basic DBS required, with Enhanced DBS processed by the client in-house.
- FIA Units 5-6 (beneficial).
- Hand tools, power tools, full PPE, steps, ladders.
- Laptop (beneficial).
- Fire test equipment, smoke poles, test equipment must be carried by the engineer.
- Car or van is acceptable.
