Job Title: Fire Service Engineer
Location: Greater London and Surrounding Areas
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire Service Engineer looking for your next contract role? We are recruiting for a Fire Service Engineer to carry out servicing and maintenance on fire alarms, warden call systems, and emergency lighting in various locations across WD, HA, UB, P, NW, N, E, EN, SL, OX, and RG postcodes. The role includes inspecting and testing systems, completing service reports, and ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Servicing and testing fire alarms, emergency lighting, and warden call systems.
- Completing full service reports for fire alarms and emergency lighting systems.
- Service and maintenance of addressable and conventional systems.
- Completing daily dockets and sending them back to the client for completion of work.
- Informing the administrator if a full day's work isn't provided, and receiving a job number for non-productive hours.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm, warden call, and emergency lighting servicing.
- Experience with both addressable and conventional systems.
- Experience with Warden Call and Security systems (essential).
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS check (Essential).
- Hand tools, power tools, full PPE.
- Fire test equipment, smoke poles.
- Android device for reporting and communication.
