Job Title: Fire Service Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Fire Service Engineer in Birmingham with experience in Fire Alarm Systems and fault finding? We are seeking a Fire Service Engineer to carry out PPMs, remedials, and breakdowns on addressable and conventional fire alarms. The systems are open protocol, so you’ll need to be proficient in maintenance and fault finding.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- PPMs, remedials, and breakdowns on addressable and conventional fire alarms.
- The work will cover a variety of sites across the Birmingham region.
Experience required:
- Experience in servicing within the Fire and Security industry.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Asbestos Awareness (within the last 12 months) – Essential.
- Basic DBS (client will conduct Enhanced DBS in-house) – Essential.
- FIA Units 5-6 – Beneficial.
- Hand tools, power tools, full PPE, steps, ladders.
- Laptop is beneficial.
- Fire test equipment, smoke poles, and test equipment must be carried.
