Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 + call out + travel time + overtime + van

We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a leading fire protection company based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm systems and be able to carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on various types of fire alarm systems. The coverage area is predominantly Manchester but you will be required to cover the North West as and when required.

Responsibilities:

Carry out the servicing and fault finding of fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
Respond to call-outs for fault finding and repair work on fire alarm systems
Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of work carried out
Liaise with clients and other contractors as necessary
Keep up to date with the latest industry developments and regulations
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Good knowledge of various types of fire alarm systems and relevant regulations and standards
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving license
Relevant industry qualifications, such as FIA or BAFE, would be an advantage

They offer a very competitive salary of up to £36,000 DOE, the call out rota is 1 week in 7 where you receive £100 standby plus door to door travel when called out, a company van that can be used for personal use and excellent earning potential.
