Role: Fire Risk Assessor
Location: South London
Salary: £49,000 - £55,000 per annum + overtime available + company health care plan + referral scheme
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire Risk Assessor to join a highly regarded team in South London. The role will focus on conducting fire risk assessments and fire door inspections across a variety of client sites, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. You will be responsible for recording all significant findings using dedicated fire risk assessment software and completing quality control processes with industry-standard tools.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive fire risk assessments and record significant findings using specialised software.
- Perform quality control processes using fire risk management software.
- Conduct thorough fire door inspections at various client sites.
- Manage time and travel effectively to meet work commitments.
- Communicate with the management team for effective workload management.
- Complete all company-required administration, including expenses, mileage, and leave requests, in a timely manner.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Level 3 fire safety qualification or equivalent.
- Proficient in using smartphone applications for reporting and assessments.
- Basic IT literacy skills.
- Strong written English skills for accurate report writing.
- Professional appearance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Third-party accreditation with an industry-recognised body (e.g., IFE, IFSM, FPA) (desirable)
- Fire door inspection qualification (e.g., City & Guilds) (desirable)
