Role: Fire Compartmentation Surveyor
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Car
Technical Resources are seeking a Fire Compartmentation Surveyor based in Leeds. We are seeking a professional with expertise in conducting fire compartmentation surveys across various building types to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough fire compartmentation surveys across commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Identify and assess fire-stopping issues, breaches in fire barriers, and compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for remediation, ensuring all work complies with current fire safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire compartmentation solutions.
- Ensure surveys comply with current fire safety regulations and building codes.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Experience in compartmentation surveying is essential.
- Proven experience in fire compartmentation surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., BS 9999, BS 9991).
- Familiar with survey recording software/apps/systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster, etc.
- Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors, and fire-stopping materials.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.
- Full UK driving license.
