Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Southampton
Rate: £220 p/day
We are looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer to perform service and maintenance on fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems at commercial and retail sites in Southampton and surrounding areas. This role requires an engineer with solid experience to complete Preventive Maintenance Visits (PMVs) and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs), as well as submitting daily dockets to show proof of work completion.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintain fire alarms, CCTV (IP and analogue), Galaxy/Texacom intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Complete PMVs and PPMs on all systems.
- Send daily dockets to the customer to confirm completed works.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire and security systems, with strong technical skills.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- No specific certifications required.
- Hand tools, power drills, steps and ladders, full PPE, and an Android device (tablet or phone).
