Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: South England
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out service and small works across Fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems. The ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in the field and will work across various retail parks in the PO, PL, BH, BS, GU, RG, SO, SP areas.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out service and small works on Fire alarms (Advanced, Kentec, C-tec, Haes), CCTV (Hikvision), Intruder systems (Galaxy, Texecom), and Access control systems (Pac, Paxton).
- Complete all works to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
- Work across multiple retail park locations.
- Liaise with clients and provide professional customer service at all times.
- Provide commissioning, testing, and handover of installed systems.
- Ensure all work is documented accurately, including completing service reports and obtaining customer signatures.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire alarms, CCTV, Access, and Intruder systems installation and service.
- Previous experience working on retail parks is advantageous.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS check essential.
- ECS card beneficial.
- IPAF certification beneficial.
- Full understanding of Fire alarm systems (Advanced, Kentec, C-tec, Haes), CCTV systems (Hikvision), and Intruder systems (Galaxy, Texecom).
- Hand tools, power tools, fire test equipment, steps, and triple ladders.
