Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Oxford
Rate: £220 p/day
We are looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer to carry out essential service and maintenance calls for various end customers. The engineer will be responsible for servicing CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems across sites such as Councils, Vodafone, NHS, and Co-Ops in the Oxford area.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Perform service and maintenance tasks for CCTV (IP/Analogue), Intruder Alarms (Galaxy, Texacom, Scantronic), Access Control (Paxton, Pac Net2), and Fire Alarms (Addressable and Conventional).
- Ensure all systems are maintained and working in compliance with client needs and industry standards.
- Work across multiple sites, predominantly Councils, Vodafone, NHS, and Co-Ops in the Oxford and surrounding areas.
- Liaise with clients to update them on service status and promptly resolve any issues.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Fire and Security Service and Maintenance Engineer.
- Proven experience working with Fire Alarm systems (essential), CCTV (beneficial), Intruder Alarms (beneficial), and Access Control systems (beneficial).
- Knowledge of systems such as Galaxy, Texacom, Scantronic, Paxton, and Pac Net2.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- BS7858 vetting started (essential).
- No formal qualifications required, but certifications in relevant areas are beneficial.
- Hand tools, drill, steps, PPE, ladders, fire test equipment, and a laptop.
- Android phone or tablet to download the CASH app (essential).
