Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer position in Essex? You will be responsible for servicing fire alarms, emergency lighting, and Warden Call systems across CM, CO, and IP postcodes. There may be occasional work in SG, CB, and NR postcodes, with travel claims for these areas after 30 minutes.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and Warden Call systems.
- Inspect and test fire alarms, completing full service reports.
- Service both addressable and conventional systems.
- Complete daily dockets and send back to the client for work completion.
- Travel to various locations including CM, CO, IP, SG, CB, and NR postcodes.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance.
- Experience with Warden Call and Security systems is essential.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS (essential, within the last 5 years).
- Hand tools, power tools, full PPE, fire test equipment, smoke poles, and Android device.
