Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer looking for a position in Edinburgh? This role involves performing PPMs (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and small works on a variety of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across multiple sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Complete PPMs and small works on Fire Alarms (Addressable and Conventional), CCTV (IP and analogue—Hikvision), Intruder Alarms (Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom, primarily Galaxy), and Access Control (Paxton).
- The expectation is to complete a minimum of 5 PPMs per day.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in fire and security systems.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS Certificate (essential).
- BS7858 certification (essential).
- Hand tools, drills, steps, and ladders.
- Full PPE.
- Android phone or tablet to complete electronic dockets.
