Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

Location: North West England

Rate: £220 p/day

Are you an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer skilled in fault finding and reactive works on fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems? We are seeking a competent professional in the North West of England to carry out fault finding, reactive works, and small installations on a variety of fire and security systems across multiple sites.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Perform fault finding and reactive works on fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).
  • Work with CCTV (mostly IP and some analogue), access control (Paxton, Honeywell Winpak, Sateon, BSB Progeny), and intruder alarms (Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier).
  • Carry out small installations and repairs across retail, commercial, and school sites.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and relevant regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service and liaise with clients to ensure minimal disruption on-site.

Experience required:

  • DBS check is beneficial.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in fire and security systems.
  • Experience working with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • Hand tools, power tools, fire test equipment.
  • Full PPE as required.
  • Steps and ladders for site access.
