Role: Fire and Security Operations Coordinator

Location: London

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire and Security Operations Coordinator to join a small but rapidly growing team in London. The Fire and Security Operations Coordinator's main purpose is to assist in all aspects of the business operational process by providing support to the Operations and Engineering teams and dealing directly with customer enquiries. The role will also involve liaising with the sales and finance teams, as well as other departments as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for incoming enquiries via email and phone, ensuring prompt handling of all enquiries.
  • Log and track customer service requests on the Company’s service software.
  • Prepare and deliver completion documentation and service reports.
  • Manage the day-to-day service jobs, ensuring that the status is properly updated based on communication with customers and engineers.
  • Manage scheduling of service and installation work using the Company’s service software.
  • Update relevant site and customer details, ensuring that contact, warranty, and contract information are up to date.
  • Support the Engineering and Management teams to ensure compliance with UK regulations and Governing Bodies such as NSI, SafeContractor, ADSA, and others.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure that Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and other site-related paperwork are completed in accordance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and relevant legislation.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • A good standard of general education, ideally to A Level standard, including written English, or equivalent NVQ Level.
  • Experience working in a fast-growth organisation.
  • Prior experience in a Coordinator’s role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Fire and Security Services Sector and product knowledge would be useful but not essential (relevant product training will be provided).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
