Role: Fire and Security Estimator
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire and Security Estimator to join a team in the West Yorkshire region. We will consider Estimators from any engineering background, although experience in the electronic security industry would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Quoting for project values ranging from £10,000 to £3m.
- Accurately pricing projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Collaborating closely with the sales team to help achieve business sales objectives.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, considering labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Reviewing and evaluating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Assisting in the development of comprehensive project proposals and budgets.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Previous experience as an Estimator, with an electrical or Fire and Security background.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
