Job Title: Fire and Security Design Engineer
Location:
M6 corridor – Midlands to the North West
Rate: £350 p/day (inside IR35)
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Designer contract role? As a Fire and Security Designer, you will work across fire detection and electronic security systems for infrastructure and substation projects. This role will involve a mixture of working from home and attending sites along the M6 corridor for surveys and client meetings.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Design fire detection systems including Advanced, Kentec, and Apollo.
- Design and survey access control systems including CEM, Lenel, Gallagher, C-Cure, and Sateon.
- Design Galaxy Intruder Alarm systems.
- Work on secure IP networks to deploy the above systems.
- Attend client sites for surveys, information gathering, and meetings.
- Produce physical designs, costings, and client proposals from home.
Experience required:
- Strong background in design and surveying for fire detection and electronic security systems.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems design.
- Tools and equipment as required for design and project assessments.
