Job Title: Fire and Security Design Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Rate: £325 p/day
We are seeking a Fire and Security Design Engineer with a strong background in designing fire and security systems to join a growing team in Glasgow. This is a pivotal position within the company for someone who is looking for a long-term challenge.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Design fire and security systems in line with relevant standards.
- Provide detailed system design for won work and variations for existing projects.
- Generate quotations for projects with values ranging from £50,000 to £5m.
- Attend client sites to conduct surveys and fully understand their requirements.
- Contribute to design work for major projects.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in designing fire and security systems.
- Experience with high-value projects (£50,000 - £5m).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Relevant qualifications in fire and security systems design.
- Tools and equipment as required for design and project assessments.
