Job Title: Fibre Splicer
Location: Colchester
Rate: £220 p/day
We’re looking for a skilled Fibre Splicer in Colchester to carry out fibre splicing and testing on a range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to work on high-quality fibre installation projects across various sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Splicing and testing single and multimode fibre, including 4-core fibre cables.
- Working independently to ensure high-quality splicing and compliance with specifications.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in fibre splicing and testing.
- Familiarity with single and multimode fibre, and 4-core fibre cables.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS card essential.
- Standard hand tools and splicing equipment.
- Full 5-point PPE (including waterproofs and warm clothing).
