Job Title: Electrical Installation Engineer
Location: South West England
Rate: £420 p/day
Are you an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer based in the South West with a strong background in installing and commissioning electrical interfaces? As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning electrical interfaces for fire suppression systems, ensuring seamless integration with catering appliances. You will be working on specialist projects requiring precision, compliance, and high technical standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Install, test, and commission electrical interfaces between kitchen fire suppression systems and catering appliances.
- Alter wiring from circuit breakers within distribution boards.
- Conduct site surveys before installation to assess readiness and identify potential issues.
- Complete and return work completion documentation.
- Carry out installations outside of normal working hours where required.
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience installing and commissioning electrical interfaces.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and compliance requirements.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- City & Guilds 2365 Level 3.
- 18th Edition Regulations.
- CSCS Card.
- Own tools and equipment.
